Emergency Response Training

Especially for English speaking persons, we offer an Emergency Response Training that is designed for those who wish to be part of the Company Emergency Response Team. All employees of an organization entrusted with the provision of in-house emergency assistance under the Dutch Arbeidsomstandighedenwet (Article 15).

Purpose and content of the course

The participant learns in a responsible way to provide first aid in case of accidents and/or disturbances of consciousness; to fight a starting fire and to alarm and evacuate in emergency situations.

Subjects of the training:

  • General rules for alerting and acting safely as part of the Emergency Response Team;
  • Providing first aid in life-threatening and non-life-threatening situations;
  • Firefighting and fire prevention measures;
  • Communication;
  • Evacuation;

Certification

The instructor assesses the participants' performance and they take a written test at the end of the course day. If the assessment is good and sufficient for the test, the participant is entitled to the carrier pass, which is valid as a certificate.

Group size : Minimum of 4 and maximum of 16 participants
Time table : Module Fire & Evacuation : 08.30 - 15.30 hrs.

Emergency Response Training Repetition

Target group

All employees of your organisation who have followed a basic Emergency Response training and carry out Emergency Response tasks within the organization.

Purpose and content of the course

Refreshing and supplementing the knowledge and skills in the field of in-house emergency response.

Subjects of the training:

  • General rules for alerting and acting safely as Emergency Response officer;
  • Providing first aid in life-threatening and non-life-threatening situations;
  • Fire fighting and fire prevention measures;
  • Communication;
  • Evacuation;

Certification

By attending this course, the participant performs the three main tasks set out in the Dutch Working Conditions Act (Arbowet) and receives a new, officially recognised carrier pass.
