Our contracts are designed to provide the highest quality service, be it for planned or responsive maintenance.

The service visit
During the visit our fire engineer will:
• Review a copy of your Health and Safety policy, fire logbook and fire risk assessment, to identify any actions required
• Carry out a full maintenance inspection, fully compliant with BS5839-1
• Discuss the works carried out and confirm the system status

The quantity of devices tested during each service visit will depend upon the frequency of service visits per annum as per the fire risk assessment report for the site. We recommend that every input device should be tested over a 12-month period

Reporting
Following every service visit the fire engineer will:
• Record all service visits in your fire log-book Identify and report any faults
• Submit an electronic inspection certificate for approval and signature
• Giving you access to view your inspection certificate via ChubbmySite, our dedicated customer portal.
 
Emergency Lighting Service and Maintenance
We can also include emergency lighting in your fire alarm service and maintenance contract compliant to BS5266-1. Emergency lighting tests are critical as they provide a minimum level of illumination to enable the safe exit of buildings. All self-contained luminaires and internally illuminated signs will be tested.
