A conventional range of alarm panels are ideal for small to medium sized premises such as guesthouses, high street shops and light industrial units.
The control panels are the brains of the fire detection and alarm system, performing a number of critical functions, such as monitoring of all detection devices, controlling sounders and signalling and providing power and battery backup to a system.
The Zonemaster ZP1 system offers an ideal solution for small to medium sized businesses
The Zonemaster 100A system offers an ideal solution for small to medium sized businesses
The Zonemaster 100AT system offers an ideal solution for small to medium sized businesses
There are many types of detection technologies for sensing and detecting the presence of smoke, heat or other early indications that a fire has started. Chubb will help you assess the risk and choose a detection method most suitable for your premises.
The Ziton ZC range of smoke and heat detection is ideal for modern commercial and industrial interiors featuring solid or suspended ceilings. A high intensity red LED indicator situated on the detector moulding provides clear indication when the unit is in alarm.
Orbis is a modern, stylish detector range packed with practical features that make installation, commissioning and maintenance easy and efficient. The new sensing and operating technologies improve operational reliability and false alarm rejection.
The Orbis range includes:
Smoke detectors feature Drift Compensation with DirtAlert® to easily identify dirty detectors and all detectors provide extra confirmation of smoke before the alarm signal given to reduce false alarms.
The Series 65 range of conventional detectors incorporates well-proven sensing technologies, together with advances in materials and electronics technology. A wide operating voltage of 9 to 33V DC means that Series 65 detectors can be integrated into security systems when used with a relay base.
ZC Manual Call Point
Designed for maximum reliability, ease of use and safety. The units are activated simply by applying pressure to the laminated break glass ZC Weather Proof Call Point are designed for external applications with IP 67 rating.
High sensitivity aspirating smoke detection systems sample air in the environment to monitor for smoke content and can detect the very early stages of fire.
The Micra 25® & Micra 100® aspirated smoke detectors draw air from within the protected area via a network of pipes to detect both the early aerosols and larger smoke particles produced by a fire.
The system can be varied from high sensitivity for very early warning in electronic data processing applications to reduced sensitivity for hostile environments.
The Stratos HSSD2® aspirated smoke detectors draw air from within the protected area via a network of pipes to detect both the early aerosols and larger smoke particles produced by a fire.
A reflective or end to end type smoke beam detector uses light obscuration technologies suitable for shopping malls, churches, leisure centres, warehouses and factories.
End-to-End: Should typically be considered where there are reflective surfaces close to the beam’s path, or where the beam path would be restricted due to fixed obstructions. Reflective: Most widely used and requires less wiring, which offers reduced installation cost and time
The Fireray® 3000 End to End Infrared Optical Beam Smoke Detector (OBSD) has been designed using the latest optical technology, incorporating modern industrial, electronic and software techniques. This detector offers cost effective protection of large, open area spaces with high ceilings. It is also ideally suited to applications where access to ceiling mounted smoke detectors presents practical difficulties.
Developed to overcome the problems of old outdated technology in beam detection, this motorised beam enables beam detection to be used reliably to produce cost effective solutions for protecting large areas.
Building movement and accessibility have in the past, made beam detection unreliable, difficult, time consuming to commission and hard to maintain, but now by using the advanced motorised technology of the firebeam means this is no longer a problem. The firebeam will self align itself to the centre of the reflector when commissioning and will automatically keep alignment with the reflector when building movement occurs. This intelligent motorisation will mean less false alarms therefore saving time, resources, reputations and ultimately money.
Chubb fire sounders and signalling devices communicate the current condition of the alarm on-site. In the event of an alarm activation it alerts people to an emergency situation, enabling the safe and swift evacuation of the premises.
Chubb's audible and visual warning devices provide a comprehensive range of high quality, high performance products. Compliant with EN54-23 the beacons & sounder beacons provide wide area illumination and audible signaling.
The Silent Alert Fire Safe system offers service providers a simple and cost effective way to providing fire alarm cover for people who are deaf within public buildings and workplaces. Silent Alert links directly to your existing Fire Alarm system and is triggered automatically when the Fire Alarm is activated. These factors help to keep ongoing costs low and helps service providers fulfil their obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act.
Silent Alert is compliant with all relevant parts of :
Deafgard is a wire free, moveable and acoustically activated bedside unit that incorporates an epilepsy friendly strobe and a connected vibrating-pad that, when placed under the pillow, vibrates to wake the sleeper upon the fire alarm sounding.
Chubb has a wide range of ancillary products from door retainers to battery chargers. This provides the flexibility to customise the fire alarm installation to the site’s specific requirements.
Suitable for charging a range of sealed lead acid batteries, the powers supply feature complete monitoring of primary and secondary power sources with fully temperature compensated battery charging and battery high impedance monitoring.
The unregulated transformer rectifiers are suitable for powering a range of field devices and are ideal for use with retainers. The units contain an internal relay allowing the load output to be switched off upon actuation of an external contactor or the application of 24Vdc. On power off the load output is automatically cut off, making it ideal for fail-safe door retaining applications.
The Cranford Controls® range of door retainers has been designed to meet a wide range of applications across the Fire and Security industries. They are available with either plastic or metal bodies for either floor, wall or pole mounting.
