England -

Community Care, a leading provider of technologies and solutions to support independent living will showcase the CareUnity® Telecare and Telehealth products during Holyrood magazine's conference April 28-29 in Glasgow. CareUnity Telehealth is an innovative single-unit solution that monitors the safety and medical conditions of the vulnerable living in the community or in care.

The conference will provide an opportunity for industry professionals to share knowledge and discuss the future of telehealth and telecare. It will also focus on the impact of Scotland's delivery plan that addresses issues surrounding an aging population, citing telehealth and telecare as keys to providing the elderly and vulnerable with necessary tools to help them manage their own health, care and well-being. The delivery plan identifies intuitive telecare and telehealth products as critical factors to success.

"CareUnity Telehealth provides a solution that can support the goals of Scotland's delivery plan by helping the elderly and vulnerable live more independent lives at home," said David Hammond, general manager, Chubb Community Care. "This conference will showcase how our combined telecare and telehealth solution strikes a balance between being straightforward for users while leveraging the most advanced technology to securely and efficiently inform relevant parties when help is required. This gives users the confidence that help is easily accessible."
