Water fire extinguishers

The 9 litre water is a reliable and effective general purpose fire extinguisher. These fire extinguishers provide a cost-effective solution to tackle freely burning material involving cloth, wood and paper.

The Chubb 9.0ltr ECO FF foam extinguisher features:

  • Rating: 3A:20B

  • Stainless steel polyester powder coated cylinder
  • Rated for use on Class A and Class B fires.
  • Suitable for hydrocarbon fuels and polar solvents

Chubb Lith-X class 'D' metal fire extinguisher

Metal fires typically involve extremely high temperatures and are difficult to control. Standard liquid fire extinguishing agents cannot safely be used as they may cause an explosion.

Chubb’s Class ‘D’ metal fire extinguishers contain a powder extinguishing agent that safely and effectively suppresses fire and prevents re-ignition.

The Chubb 9.0kg LX Metal Fire dry chemical extinguisher features:

  • Mild steel polyester powder coated handle and trigger
  • Mild steel polyester powder coated applicator
  • Mild steel polyester powder coated cylinder
  • Lith-X dry chemical powder
  • Transport style pull out pin

CO2 fire extinguishers

Chubb carbon dioxide (CO2) fire extinguishers are recommended for Class ‘E’ electrical hazard fires, but also have limited capabilities for extinguishing small, indoor Class ‘A’ paper and Class ‘B’ flammable liquid fires.

The Chubb Carbon Dioxide extinguishers feature:

  • Australian/New Zealand Standard certified to AS/NZS1841.6
  • Mild steel polyester powder coated handle and trigger

Chubb 7.5L wet chemical extinguisher

Wet chemical fire extinguishers contain a liquid extinguishing agent, specifically developed to extinguish kitchen range, cooking oil and fat fires.

Chubb wet chemical fire extinguishers are recommended for use in all kitchens. These extinguishers should not be used on fires involving live electrical equipment or flammable liquids.

The Chubb 7.5 litre wet chemical extinguisher features:

  • Rating 3A:4F
  • Australian/New Zealand Standard certified to AS/NZS1841.3
