Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) commences our journey toward a greater awareness, understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, challenges and opportunities, and acknowledges our support of the reconciliation process.
We have identified 6 key objectives to help ensure the vision and spirit of reconciliation is realised.
- Increase Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employee representation.
- Raise cultural awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people among employees.
- Provide training and development opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees.
- Demonstrate an inclusive, supportive and encouraging environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees and prospective employees.
- Engage local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses for services in communities where we operate.
- Evaluate our engagement strategies for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
