Chubb Showcases Integrated Fire and Security Solutions at Security & Counter Terror Expo

BLACKBURN, England, May 5th, 2017 – Chubb Systems highlighted its fire and security management systems at the Security & Counter Terror Expo on 3-4 May at Olympia, London. Designed specifically for critical environments, these systems allow for the monitoring and managing of areas and people, when needed most. Chubb, a leading provider of security and fire-safety solutions, is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Central to Chubb’s offering to the critical infrastructure sector is its powerful fire and security management system – ADACS Assure – which collates data from multiple channels, enabling personnel to manage fire safety, security, building controls and power supplies from a single platform. The feature-rich ADACS Assure platform presents real-time information to control access privileges; it also monitors fire detection and suppression systems, and manages closed-circuit television (CCTV) and monitoring systems. The system has been approved for UK government use by the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure.

Visitors to Security & Counter Terror were able to see firsthand Chubb’s Control View System, an access management, monitoring and reporting system that provides a consistent and effective way to monitor and manage critical areas and the people within them. The environments this system is tailored to include custodial facilities, ports and borders. 

Chubb also presented its upgraded Visitor Management platform. Designed with the requirements of UK government agencies in mind, it enables users to capture and store images of everyone who makes a site visit. It includes four main modules: Visitor Systems, Staff/Contractor Systems, Fast Track and Intranet Visitor Notification.
