Chubb was awarded the contract after a previous supplier failed to meet Farnell’s high expectations.
“Ensuring our extinguishers are professionally maintained is most important to us, and critical if they were ever really needed in an emergency,” said Paul Jackson, Maintenance Contracts Manager for Farnell. “I was not happy with my previous service provider and decided to look elsewhere. Chubb was successful in its bid, and now has the contract to service the 310 extinguishers at our Canal Road headquarters as well as installing 30 new extinguishers and four fire blankets.”
Nick Williams, Marketing Communications Manager at Chubb Fire adds: “Farnell has a large amount of valuable stock on site and it is imperative that this inventory and the staff are kept safe from any possible fire risks.”
